This bundle includes the Alarm Siren & Xenon Strobe and two Proximity Switches—one for the shower and one for the eyewash—delivering powerful audible and visual alerts whenever either is activated.

Key Components:

• Alarm Siren & Xenon Strobe 10J
  This robust unit combines a high-output 116dB(A) alarm horn sounder with a brilliant 10 Joule Xenon strobe light, ensuring alerts are both heard and seen in noisy or visually busy environments. Encased in a corrosion-proof, marine-grade aluminium die-cast enclosure with a chromated and powder-coated finish, it’s built to withstand the harshest hazardous location conditions. It carries global certifications, including ATEX, IECEx (Zone 2 & 22), NEC/CEC (Class I Div 2, Class II Div 2), and UL & cUL approvals, making it ideal for fire alarm and general signaling applications. The IP66 and Type 4/4X enclosure guarantees protection against dust and water ingress.
• Proximity Switches (Magnetic)
  These hermetically sealed, magnetic switches are engineered for dependability in extreme environments. Constructed from durable 316L stainless steel, they feature a cylindrical M18x1.0 threaded body (60mm long) and come with 2 meters of 7-core polyolefin cable. Rated for hazardous locations (UL & CSA Class I II III Div 2, Zone 2, Groups A-D, F-G, T4A), they operate reliably across a wide temperature range of -60°C to +100°C (-76°F to +212°F). With IP66, IP67, and IP68 (submersible up to 30m for 24hrs) protection, plus a NEMA 4X & 6P rating, they resist dust, water, and pressure up to 2000psi (138 bar). Their SIL 3 / SC3 safety rating ensures exceptional reliability for safety-critical operations. Activation occurs via a magnetic target, with sensing ranges up to 16mm depending on the magnet used.

How It Works:

When the safety shower or eyewash is activated, the corresponding Proximity Switch detects the magnetic target and triggers the Alarm Siren & Xenon Strobe. The loud 116dB(A) siren and bright 10J strobe light immediately notify nearby personnel, enhancing response time and safety in emergency situations.
