Our journey began with a life-changing incident involving our CEO, Richard Allred. During a routine inspection at a government facility, a pipe burst, spraying sulfuric acid and putting Richard in immediate danger. He rushed to the nearest safety shower, only to be met with painfully cold water that made it nearly impossible to stay under long enough to effectively wash off the acid. This harrowing experience exposed a critical flaw in many safety systems: the lack of tepid water, essential for comfortable and effective decontamination.

Motivated by this ordeal, Richard founded SafetyShower.com, a division of ATS, with a clear vision: to revolutionize industrial safety by creating safety showers that not only meet but exceed industry standards, delivering tepid water consistently and reliably.
